Reid met his lovely wife Christine on a travelling Youth Ministry Band. A classic love story where the lead singer fell in love with the bass guitarist!

After falling head over heels, the two crossed oceans (literally crossed the Pacific ocean) to be together. Their shared love of music led to Apostle 13 - a Christian rock and folk band that now includes their daughters. Though they have two CD albums, they are slowly in the process of re-recording songs to be released on the popular music streaming platforms!
